Acoustic Coupler is used for mixturing Electric Signals by Acoustic ways or 'Sound' Ways.

"Acoustic" is the science dealing with the study of sound. This Coupler is basically an interface device which combines signals into or out of a telephone. Acoustic Coupler can be said as a electronics device used to connect other data units with Telephone. This connection is possible due to sound signals. No direct electrical connection is done in this case. Acoustic Couplers are also used to connect modems to the Telephone.
