VLSI

In VLSI we can place more than one million components on a single chip. Very large scale integration, or VLSI, contains the technology which allows a huge number of circuits to be included on single silicon chip. This technology was started during the 1980’s.VLSI is a process that can be implemented in many different ways. Now we don't have to make large circuits instead they can be replaced with one small chip which itself contains thousands of circuits in itself. We can include huge numbers of logic gates and memory capacity on one single silicon chip. This advantage of VLSI helped to make desktop computers more powerful than ever.With time the process of VLSI have made it possible for that number to exceed even more.
